Hi There!

I know it's been a long long time since you've heard from me, but man! This world is so exciting, who has time to stop and blog? Everyday is something new and exciting, and sometimes I just can't take it all in. I'm rolling over and trying to sit up by myself, but I just get too excited to stay sitting up and flop over. This makes Mommy and Daddy laugh so hard. I'm trying to get this crawling thing down, but it takes time.

I'm eating so many new foods, and though I still don't have any teeth, I'm hoping one day Daddy will give me something off of his plate for dinner, cuz their food smells like it's better than mine. There is thing that Mommy calls the Remote. I want it so bad! They never let me have it, they play with it all the time. I thought we were supposed to share?!

Mommy keeps talking about how one day I won't have to go to daycare anymore, because Grandma E will watch me. I wonder if that means I'll get to sleep later in the morning?

I Have Owwies!

I should have known that something was going on when Daddy was home when I woke up this morning AND Aunt T was there. I should have figured it out when Mommy got in the car and we went for a ride, AND Aunt T was there. But I was just happy to have so many of my people with me.

They took me to that doctor place, I normally don't mind, but someone should have told me about those shot thingys. I had to get four! I don't know how to count yet, but that's a lot of shots! I have owwies on my legs, BOTH OF THEM!! I have two owwies on each leg, and they put those bandaids on me and said, 'All done!' like I should have been happy not to get more. I'm going to have to watch out for trips with so many of my people from now on. Nothing good comes of them.

What's a Gustav?

We were doing something calling 'evacuating from Gustav' I don't know what that is exactly but it was not a fun thing, which is weird because usually I am always having fun with Daddy and Mommy. We were in the car for a really long time, and they know I don't like riding in my car seat. I can't see anything but the back of the seat when I'm in it.

The good thing is that I did get to see my Grandma K, Aunt M, Aunt K, Aunt T, Cam, & Ariel every single day all day! Mommy and Daddy didn't go to that work place either so we spent all day together. I don't understand what a Gustav is and why we had to run from it, but I hope we don't have another one any time soon, I really hate that car ride! I did smile some though!

Been Busy

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. I've been busy checking things out around my house. I can see better now, so everything is interesting. I just noticed the other day that my swing has toys on it that spin around while music plays. I watch it and watch it until my eyes cross and Mommy says, "Uncross those eyes, kiddo."

My room is full of neat stuff, I have stuffed animals and books I can't wait to play with! Daddy and Grandma K always give me a stuffed animal to look at while they change my diaper. I know they are just trying to distract me, but I appreciate the thought so I play along. Daddy fished in a rodeo this past weekend, I don't know what that means, but he wasn't home most of the weekend so me and Mommy hung out together.

Last night Daddy and I watched football and the Olympics so it was nice to catch up with him. He told me about the fish he caught and the prizes that he won, something called an 'Ice Chest big enough for you to sleep in', Mommy didn't laugh but Daddy did. I gotta go, Mommy should be coming to get me in a little while and I want to look my best when she gets here.

My Weekend

I wanted to post this last night, but Daddy said I had to go to bed because I had been up almost all day. I had a really good weekend. I saw all of my grandparents, and Aunt K, and met some new friends Uncle Del, Aunt Cat, Uncle Roo, and Aunt Joan. The bestest part was spending all Saturday afternoon with my Daddy. Mommy was really tired so Daddy kept me with him all day. We watched TV, he told me about the place he works, we watched ESPN, and some fishing shows that Daddy says Mommy won't let him watch on the big TV when she's up.

I loved spending time with just Daddy. Daddy took me outside to see our boat, he showed me my puppy Kari, and he fussed at Jinx to stay off the sofa, I'm not sure I like Jinx, he looks scary, but he didn't bite me. Daddy tried to sing to me, Mommy got a picture.

Sweet Life

Hey there! It's me, Nibblet. Mommy told me I better get it together and post something soon because everyone is telling her that they need updates here on this thingy...sorry Mommy, this Blog. I'm doing really good lately! I've been spending my days sleeping and hanging out with Mommy and Daddy all night! They're funny, they act like I'm supposed to sleep during the night and stay up all day, you'd think they'd have learned the right way by now.

I had my first doctor's appointment last week and while I thought it was awful, Mommy and Grandma K, and Aunt T thought it was great. I try to tell them that I don't like it when my clothes are off, but they insist on taking them off me every single day sometimes more than once. I may tolerate a diaper change once or twice, but they are crazy with the clothes off stuff. I stayed with Grandma E and Grandpa for two days while Mommy did something she called 'Working' she was gone ALL DAY!!!!!! I don't like this work business that Mommy and Daddy have going on, I like visiting Grandma E and Grandpa, I like them a lot, but I missed Mommy and Daddy and my house so I slept while they were gone.

Aunt T comes to the house to watch me now, she's funny. She tells me stories and talks about all the things we'll do when I get bigger, I can't wait to go to this Disney World place. Aunt K and Grandma K came over last night and I was happy to see them so I stayed up longer than I should have. When they left Mommy and Daddy were sleepy, but I wanted to play with them. Daddy took me for a while and played with me and talked to me about going fishing, sounds like fun, Daddy says Mommy hates fishing so it will just be me and him when we go. I hope I don't hate fishing too!

Daddy tried to put me to bed when I closed my eyes for just a minute, but I was only resting them so Mommy took me and brought me back to the living room and brought some pillows and blankets with us. It was like we were camping or something, it was cool! I ended up falling asleep on Mommy's shoulder and when I woke up this morning I was still there! It was so nice to sleep with Mommy like that, I hope Daddy does that tonight. I'll have to remember what I did to get Mommy to take me camping so I can do it again.
